I'm Josh.
I live in Cumbria.
I walked the fells before I made prints of them. The studio came out of two things: a feeling that the existing Lake District wall art either lacks taste or lacks place, and a quiet obsession with how a landscape reads when you flatten it to contour lines.
Every print starts with elevation data from the Ordnance Survey. Each fell takes a different palette. Each line gets placed by hand. The result is a piece of the Lakes you can live with for decades.

How a print is made.
Ordnance Survey elevation
OS Terrain 50 elevation data, the same dataset used by professional cartographers. Real metres above sea level, not an approximation.
Contours by hand
Lines are placed at 20 metre intervals. Spacing, weight, and palette are tuned by eye for each fell. No template. No filter.
UK fine art press
Printed on archival FSC paper. Matte 240gsm or giclée 310gsm. Shipped flat in a rigid mailer, or rolled in a hard tube for A2.

The questions we get most.
Are the prints to scale?
Each print is a relative topographic study, not a navigational map. The contour rings are spatially accurate to OS Terrain 50 data, but proportions are framed for aesthetic balance, not for hill walking.
Do you do custom fells?
Yes. If a fell isn't in the catalogue, message us. Custom prints take 7 to 10 days from brief to dispatch. Same price tiers as the standard range.
Can I add a date or name?
Free, with two days added to dispatch. Add the wording in the order notes at checkout, or message before ordering.
What if I don't like it?
Send it back within 14 days. Full refund, no awkward questions. Personalised prints excluded.
Where are prints made?
Printed in the UK by a fine art press, dispatched within 2 to 4 working days. No overseas shipping, no warehouse stock.
